 Barry Bauguess
began playing the Baroque Trumpet in 1985 and has almost 25 years' experience performing with most of North America's period-instrument ensembles including Apollo's Fire, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Philharmonia Baroque, American Bach Soloists, Chatham Baroque, and Tempesta di Mare. He currently is on the faculty of the Oberlin Baroque Performance Institute and is a Kulas Visiting Artist at Case Western Reserve University.
Barry opened The Baroque Trumpet Shop in 2003 to offer his friends and colleagues the very best instruments, mouthpiece, and accessories available. Since then, the shop has grown into serving early brass artists world-wide. We have customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Germany, UK, Portugal, Japan, Austria, Poland, and Israel.
We offer instruments and accessories from the world's best makers including Egger, Naumann, Münkwitz, Schilke, Ralph Bryant, Marcus Bonna, Brass Bags, and Rick Seraphinoff.
We also are dealers for the publishing companies of Bärenreiter, Spaeth-Schmid, Schott, Musica Rara, and Editions BIM.
