Galileo Rotary Valve Trumpets
In July 2008, the Egger company integrated the German custom trumpet company Galileo into their fold. Since then the Galileo trumpets have been built in the new Egger facility in Basel, Switzerland. We recently received three of the Galileo C trumpets here at the shop. From my impression, these are some of the finest rotaries on the market today. I have personally owned rotary trumpets from the top makers and I like the Galileos much better. These instruments are so good that The Juilliard School recently purchased Galileo rotary C trumpets.
